North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will announce new ratings for two fire departments during visits to Forsyth and Rowan Counties on Monday, Nov. 8.

Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, will announce the new rating for the Spencer Fire Department at 10 a.m. Monday at the fire station at 208 S. Salisbury Ave., Spencer, N.C. 28159.

He will announce the new rating for the Walkertown Fire Department at 1 p.m. Monday at the fire station at 5225 Main St., Walkertown, N.C. 27051.

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will announce a new insurance rating for the Benson Fire Department on Monday, Oct. 25.

Also on Monday, Commissioner Causey will visit a fire department in Princeton in Johnson County.

The Benson Fire Department recently underwent an inspection by the Office of State Fire Marshal. A fire department’s rating affects homeowners’ and business insurance premiums and helps signal how prepared firefighters are at responding to calls and battle blazes in their fire district.

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will announce new insurance ratings for two Johnston County fire departments during a trip to Johnston County on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, will announce the new rating for the Micro Volunteer Fire Department at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the fire station at 321 U.S. 301 South, Micro, N.C. 27555.

He will announce the new rating for the Cleveland Fire Department at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the fire station at 9039 Cleveland Road, Clayton, N.C. 27520.

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will visit Stanly and Rowan counties on Monday, Oct. 4, where he will announce the new insurance rating for the town of Landis, present ceremonial grant checks totaling more than $175,000 to volunteer fire departments and distribute fire prevention coloring books for firefighters to give out to children.

Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, will announce the new rating for Landis at 2 p.m. Monday at the Landis Fire Department, 136 N. Central Ave., Landis N.C. 28088.
North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will announce new insurance ratings for Cramerton, McAdenville and China Grove during a visit to Gaston, Rowan and Cabarrus counties on Friday, Sept. 10.

The Cramerton Fire Department, which provides fire protection for both Cramerton and McAdenville, will learn of its new rating when Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, stops by the station Friday morning. The China Grove Fire Department will learn its new rating during an afternoon stop.
North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey is scheduled to meet with Brunswick County building inspectors and officials Thursday, Oct. 1, to discuss inspections updates and how to best prepare and respond to disasters that can damage homes and property.
