New AFFF Division

The Office of State Fire Marshal has a new Division: Aqueous Film-Forming Foams (AFFF).

The mission of the Foam Analyst Division is to assist all NC Fire Departments with accurate reporting of quantities stored and/or used, locations of, and potential exposures from AFFF. Provide education on the health and environmental effects of AFFF.
