Live Fire Qualification Moratorium
The North Carolina Fire and Rescue Certification Board has placed a temporary moratorium on live fire qualification while revisions to NFPA 1041 (Standard for Fire and Emergency Services Instructor Professional Qualifications) are in progress.
During this time, no new live fire qualifications will be scheduled until the review and alignment with the revised standard are complete.
Updates will be posted here as additional information becomes available.
*If you are already enrolled in the Live Fire Qualification Process, you may complete the program within the original two years from your start date.
