Safe Kids NC Conference

Join us in Concord for the annual Safe Kids North Carolina Conference!

The Office of State Fire Marshal is excited to offer the Safe Kids NC (SKNC) Conference this year!

This year's conference will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest in community risk reduction and injury prevention, with the option to earn all six CEU's needed for Child Passenger Safety (CPS) recertification. Presentations will be offered by injury prevention coordinators and industry specialists on various risk areas, emerging trends, communication & fundraising strategies, community organization and much more!

Who should attend? Injury prevention coordinators, SKNC coordinators and coalition members, law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, firefighters, health care professionals, and anyone who works to assist in preventing childhood injuries.

Registration is open!

Early Registration: $250.00 per person (On or before April 1, 2025)

Late Registration: $300.00 per person (April 2, 2025 and after)

Registration & Check deadline: April 18, 2025. (checks must be received by May 2, 2025)

Attendees are encouraged to register early as space is limited!

Reservations: In order to receive the reduced conference room-rate, you must reserve your room prior to Friday, April 18, 2025. Attendees are encouraged to make room reservations as early as possible as the room block is subject to fun out before this date.

Conference Registration: Early registration ends April 1, 2025. Conference registration ends April 18, 2025.

** Refund Policy: The conference will be held unless there is a state of emergency in NC. There will be no penalty for cancellation/refund requests received on or before May 2, 2025. Late refund requests from attendees who are unable to attend, due to a death or family emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis by Safe Kids NC.

Substitution Policy: Substitutions are welcome any time before or after the indicated deadline. Registration fee may be transferred from one registrant to another.

Reservations must be made by April 18, 2025. After the cutoff date, reservations at the group rate are not guaranteed and room block is subject to run out before this date.
