Greensboro, NC — State and national safety leaders gathered today at the Greensboro Science Center for a powerful and emotional event highlighting the dangers of leaving children in hot cars—and the simple actions that can prevent tragedy.

Greensboro, NC — On National Heat Stroke Awareness Day, we’re coming together to shine a light on a preventable tragedy impacting families across North Carolina. The NC Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM), in partnership with Safe Kids North Carolina, Safe Kids Worldwide, and the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program, will host a Hot Cars Awareness Display & Media Event to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving children in vehicles.
