North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will present two Order of the Guardian awards during a visit to Guilford County on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The Commissioner, who serves as the State Fire Marshal, presents this award to indviduals who have demonstrated outstanding service in the fire industry.
Commssioner Causey will visit the Northeast Fire Department in Browns Summit to present the special awards to Colen Hendrick and Clyde Murray, who are charter members of the Northeast Guilford VFD and both have 50 years of service with the fire department.
