North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey, who also serves as the State Fire Marshal, will announce the new insurance rating for the Faith Fire Department in Rowan County on Tuesday, April 11.
The announcement will take place at 7 p.m. at the Faith Town Hall, 100 N. Main St. Faith, N.C. 28041.
The Faith Fire Department recently underwent an inspection by the Office of State Fire Marshal. A fire department’s rating affects homeowners’ and business insurance premiums and helps signal how prepared firefighters are at responding to calls and battling blazes in their fire districts.
The new ratings will become effective for insurance policies on July 1.
