Instructor re-qualification sessions for TR Ropes and TR Vehicle are now available for registration using your OSFM24 account. This re-qualification is required for all currently qualified TR Ropes and TR Vehicle instructors. To receive credit for the upgrade, instructors must attend and participate in the entire re-qualification training.
In general, each two-day re-qualification session is laid out as follows:
Join us for OSFM and NC State University's first fluorine-free foam training at the Regional Emergency Services Training Center at Gaston College. Topics will cover the differences and similarities between legacy and fluorine-free firefighting foams, demonstrations using different commercially available foam products, fire pump panel considerations, manual firefighting techniques on different nozzle streams, and guidelines concerning their storage, use, and legality. Personal PPE is not required!
